Obituary

After a short illness, stephen w. Tyler, 61,  of south charleston, wv, left this earth monday, july 23, 2018 to join his recently departed father robert tyler, on july 20, 2018.

Stephen graduated from charleston catholic high school class of 1974. He was employed by crane supply/ hajoca corporation with 39 years of service. He was a member of blessed sacrament parish, south charleston, wv

stephen was an avid sports fan of green bay packers, boston celtics, wvu, along with nascar racing, throughout the years his greatest pleasure was coaching youth football and girls softball.

Along with his father, stephen was preceded in death by a sister, rose marie given and a nephew, daniel keith tyler.

He is survived by the love of his life of 19 years, alisa milam tyler; his mother barbara jelich tyler; sons, steven tyler of parkersburg, nicholas cheshire of milton; daughter, ashley ziemke (terry) of tega cay, sc; brother, robert tyler jr. (jeannie); sisters, christine miller (john) of charleston; barbara rhodes (michael) mary cook (ron) of hurricane; jackie reynaga (logan) of albuquerque, nm; grandsons, brady cheshire and carson ziemke along with 16 nieces and nephews and 17 great-nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by the apple of his eye and partner in crime his dog, scarlett.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.M. Saturday, july 28, 2018 at sacred heart co-cathedral, charleston, wv with father john h. Finnell and father don higgs officiating.

Visitation will be held starting at 11:00 a.M. Until time of the service at the church.
