Obituary

Steven Lee Hershey, 50, of Charleston, WV, passed away June 14, 2025, after a short illness.

He is the son of Fred and Cathie Hershey of Charleston.

Steven started drawing when he was very young, like everyone else. However, in his early teens, he found his natural aptitude in drawing super heroes and action figures in “comic book” style. His love of drawing allowed his natural talent to grow, along with offering an escape from the day-to-day hardships he faced.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Jason Hershey and Nicholas Hershey, both of Charleston.
