Obituary

Todd Anthony Spencer, 53, of Charleston, WV, passed away on October 11, 2023, at the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV.

Born September 8, 1970, in Pikeville, KY, Todd was the son of Otto Rudolph Spencer Jr. and Eva Lucille Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glen Roy Smith and Anna Marie Smith, and his paternal grandparents, Otto Rudolph Spencer and Mary Elizabeth Spencer.

Todd was a 1989 graduate of Williamson High School. Upon graduation, Todd moved near the ocean, Myrtle Beach, SC. He loved the ocean. He spent twenty years in South Carolina before returning to West Virginia to be near family. He loved his nephews and niece, Caleb (Erin) Spencer, Mackinsey Spencer (Lane Stanley) and Garrett Spencer (Mackenna Cline). When time permitted, he loved being near his great nephews and great niece- Ezekiel Spencer, Salem Spencer and Nash Stanley.

In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by one brother, Joe (Chas) Spencer of Chattaroy, WV; a sister, Leah (Greg) Wireman of Louisa, KY, as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

The family has honored Todd’s wish that the body be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a date and time yet to be determined.
