Obituary

Born on March 3, 1971, Tracey was the daughter of Ted Schultz and Betty Schultz, and the sister of Terry Schultz and Dianna Shortridge. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, all of whom she carried in her heart throughout her life.

Tracey was a devoted mother to Darian Moore and Joshua Hoffman, and the proud grandmother of Paisley, Grayson, and Teagan, who lovingly knew her as GamGam. Being their GamGam was one of the greatest joys of her life. She was also deeply loved by many nieces and nephews.

She found joy in being outdoors, creating crafts, and pouring 100% effort and thought into everything she made. Her creativity, kindness, and steady presence touched everyone who knew her.

Tracey attended the University of Charleston. She began as an assembly technician at Diamond Electric, later moved onto Blenko Glass, and ultimately served as a legal assistant at Tabor Lindsay & Associates, where she ended her professional journey.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and wholehearted dedication that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of Tracey and Matt’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on June 6, 2026, at their home church, Connection Point Church of God, located at 2390 Kanawha State Forest Drive, Charleston, WV 25314. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor their memory, their love, and the light they brought into every life they touched.
