Obituary
Trena lee (arnold) given, 70, of saint albans, wv passed away peacefully and well-loved july 26, 2017 after a long illness. Trena was born in charleston, wv to john a. Arnold and betty lee (atkinson) arnold; she grew up in saint albans. In addition to her parents, trena was preceded in death by her husband walter m. Given, iv.
Trena attended marshall university after graduating from saint albans high school in 1964. She worked as an accountant for montgomery ward for over twenty years and retired after the passing of her husband. She dedicated herself to the care of her parents in their later years, and delighted in the role of “teetee” to her grandsons. Trena is survived by her daughter mary e. “megan” dailey (matthew), her sister linda freeman (lawson), grandsons viktor and alexander dailey, nephew darrell freeman (rami), niece april martin (chris), as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, grand nieces and nephews and many cousins. Friends and family are welcome to gather in trena’s saint albans home for fellowship and remembrance saturday, august 5th from 2pm-4pm. The family will return trena’s and her husband’s commingled ashes to the earth privately at a later date.

I Had The Pleasure Of Working With Trena At Montgomery Ward. I Remember When She Married Walter Given The Love Of Her Life. They Were Perfect For Each Other And Trena Loved Him Dearly. I Always Enjoyed Working With Trena. My Sympathies To The Family.
