I’m Wendy’s cousin, her mother was my mother’s sister. I am so saddened to hear about her passing. When I was little, she would take me blackberry picking. She would take me all around Charleston on the bus visiting shops, and she would tell me to pick something out… I’d usually get a coloring book. I was little but I do remember those things. She was the kindest person I’ve ever known. When I got married, I got in touch with her again and we became pen-pals, writing each other a lot. She’d send me gobs of photos, and every time I got her mail was an exciting thing for me. Love you, Sweet Cousin. Rest in peace. Love, your little cousin, Tams.
