Obituary
William g. “pops” lucas, 71 passed away peacefully monday, september 4, 2017 at golden living, glasgow, wv after a long battle with alzheimer’s.
He loved to fish and eat cookies. He was born november 11, 1945 in stickney, wv, and served four years in the u.S. Army
william is survived by his best friend, charlotte lucas (debbie) of malden, wv; daughter, samantha lucas of malden; son, martin lucas of tad; and sister, sue johnson of pond gap. William had one granddaughter, willow grace spaudling, and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him very much.
Per william’s wishes his body was donated to the wvu human gift registry.
The family would like to thank all the staff at golden living, glasgow, wv for their excellent care they gave william.
