Obituary

William “Bill” Roland Osborne, 72, of Clendenin, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Hubbard Hospice House West after a long illness.

He was born on July 16, 1952, a son of the late Kenneth M. Osborne and Emilee Hope Osborne.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Michael Osborne, Joseph M. Osborne and John R. Osborne.

Bill is survived by his two brothers, James Allen “Hoot” Osborne (Judy) and Edward “Ed” Osborne, and his sister, Brenda H. Smith (Samuel), as well as two estranged children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill graduated from Walton High School and worked many years in the oil field when he was a younger man. In his later years, Bill worked at Sandy Brae Golf Course and Yeager Airport until he was forced to retire due to health issues.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bill chose not to have a service.
