Deborah Ann “Debbie” (Warner) Flinner, age 71, of Charleston, WV, went home to be with the Lord and with all the saints who went before her on June 17, 2024. She was born on December 24, 1952, in Charleston, WV, to the late Claude Kent Warner and Roberta Jane (Grubb) Warner. Debbie and her husband loved to travel and enjoyed cooking together. Debbie spent every spare minute in her garden, where she felt closest to God. She devoted 37 years to the field of optometry, managing a practice for 35 of those years. She also served as president of the West Virginia Optometric Association, Paraoptometric Section, for two terms, and as WV State Facilitator for Vision Source for over 10 years.

David and Family, please accept mine and my families condolences. Debbie was a sweet loving person . When ever we saw one another she was always greeting with joy, hug and happiness. Although we didn’t see or speak often we shared loving cousin friendship. May she Rest In Peace and hug our family who left this world before.♡♡♡us

  2. I went to Charleston High School with Debbie, class of 72, only recently got to talk with her. She was still the same friendly smiling person even after all these years from school. She fought a long hard battle and is finally pain free and at a loving and peaceful place..
Love, Hugs and Prayers to Dave and all her family

  3. My deepest sympathy. Debbie was an incredible woman who always made my day better. She made me feel included, respected and heard. I will remember her forever. ❤️

  4. To the Warner and Grubb Families. Debbie was my little sister in Delta Alpha Delta Sorority in high school. We became good friends over the years. Alway happy to see each other as we ran into each other in our own lives. Time to catch up and enjoy memories. She was a dynamo when it came to getting the CHS Class of 1971 back together. Those events now will not be the same. God now has her in Heaven where she belongs as the true honest human she was. God loves her. My prayers and sympathies to all her loved ones. ❤️Sally Reed Snyder
