Obituary

Rodney Brent Moles, the son of William M. Moles and Lyndal M. Moles, was born in Charleston, WV, on February 27, 1957, and gained his wings and joined his family in heaven on October 19, 2023.

Rodney was a father to six children: Brent McCrea, Tera Milam, Nyssa Perkins, William Moles, Sherry Akinson and stepson Joseph Riddlebaugh; the husband of Julie Mae Moles for 22 years; the brother of Teresa Slaughter and Beverly Akinson; and grandfather of Brittany and Addison, and Joshua and Nathanial.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Moles.

In his life, he worked at Baker Truck Equipment and various carpentry jobs just following his dream and where ever it took him, His favorite hobbies were riding his Kawasaki Vulcan, driving remote control cars, and spending quality time with his wife, Julie. He lived 66 years on this planet and he spread millions of smiles during that time.

He will be forever loved and missed.

Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at China Buffet, 5707 MacCorkle Avenue SE, Kanawha City, WV. Everyone is asked to please wear black and white, Rodney’s favorite colors.
