Obituary

Allegra ann daniel, 73, of st. Albans, passed away thursday, october 18, 2018, at the cleveland clinic hospice after a brief illness.

Allegra retired as a senior systems analyst from clearon corporation, south charleston.

She was a member of st. George orthodox cathedral, charleston.

Allegra was born in charleston and lived in oh, tn, nc, fl, va and il before returning to the charleston area for the last time in 2012.

She was a graduate of wvu and an avid supporter of all mountaineer sports, particularly football and basketball. She loved traveling, music, and all animals, especially dogs and horses. She also had a wicked sense of humor.

Allegra was an active lifelong member of the democratic party, serving as a delegate in 1988 when she lived in florida and in various roles for local elections whenever possible.

As a loud and proud woman, she is now on the march to heaven where she will surely never see donald trump again. She wants to remind everyone to vote.

Allegra was preceded in death by her parents, kermit and marie daniel; her brother, chip daniel; and former husbands gary l. Good and leo pettry, jr. Regrettably, her first husband is still living.

She is survived by her son, brian berkley (michelle) and grandsons nathan and william berkley of albany, or; daughter, marea berkley clement (eric) and granddaughter erica clement of aurora, il; wvu daughter, stacey chipman of orlando, fl; niece jana dellaflora (rich) of pickerington, oh; niece heather dobson (tyler) of woodstock, ga; numerous aunts, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews and friends; friend and caregiver, joanne casto meadows; and her beloved furbaby, cocoa puff.

My Deepest Sympathies For Allegra’S Passing. It Is Truly Heartbreaking To Lose Someone We Love. I Wanted To Take A Moment And Share A Truly Comforting Promise From The Bible. Job 14:14, 15 “If A Man Dies, Can He Live Again? I Will Wait All The Days Of My Compulsory Service Until My Relief Comes. You Will Call, And I Will Answer You. You Will Long For The Work Of Your Hands.” Yes God Longs To Bring Our Dear Loved Ones Back To Life. Very Soon We Will Have Our Loves Ones Reunited With Us. What A Truly Special Day That Will Be.

We Were Saddened To Hear Of Allegra’S Passing. My Office Staff Told Me Of Your Call And Her Terminal Situation But It Is Still Shocking As She Looked So Healthy At Leo’S Funeral.
Your Mother Was Always So Pleasant Even When Things Were Challenging. We Will Miss Her Warm Smile And Cheerfulness.
I’M Sorry That We Won’T Be Able To Attend Her Funeral.
May God Give Rest To Her Soul And May Her Memory Be Eternal.
