    Dear Judy and Sean,
So very sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. We will always remember all the good times at Boy Scouts. Jim always called Chuck on St. Patty’s Day. We will continue to remember you family in prayer.
    God Bless,
Jim, Sandy, Christa, & Matt Rucker

  2. John Davitt says:

I consider myself very fortunate to have had Chuck as a friend. Although many years passed between our time together as students in the 70s and a few reunions in West Virginia, I often think about time I spent with Chuck and Judy back in Maryland. Judy–you and the rest of the Donnelly are in my thoughts. I wish you all well at this difficult time.

  3. Uncle Charlie was a man of honor and conviction. He fought for what he believed in and was revered by many. Some of my favorite memories of him include quiet mornings on his back patio sharing our mutual love of reading and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river, with occasional witty quips and him sharing memories that would have us both laughing. I will hold those moments dear to me always, and forever value how important bringing the family together was to him. I’m grateful to have grown in his presence, and lucky to carry his memory with me. May you rest in peace. Sending prayers and love to Aunt Judy and Sean.

I have known Chuck since the 1980’s when I was a member of the UMWA.
He has always been a true friend and it has been a honor to know and work with such a great man. May God Bless all of his family during this time.

  5. Alan Hejl says:

Uncle Charlie was one in a million. His sense of humor and patriotism are values that I have always admired and became a foundation for who I am today. I will always remember learning to grill, sharing Boy Scout stories, and getting sound life advice from this amazing man. He will always be missed, but remembered. To Sean and Judy, our family is always there for you.
