Obituary

Denver Lee Walker, 70, of Sissonville, WV, went home to be with his Heavenly Father and reunited with his beloved parents on March 5, 2023.

Denver will be remembered for his easy-going nature, sense of humor, and sometimes stubborn will. He never valued material possessions but treasured personal memories and loved his children, grandchildren, and friends. During his journey through this life, he considered his parents to be two of his best friends. One of his favorite hymns was “Consider the Lilies” (Luke 12:24).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Denver Edward and Donna Browning Walker; half-brother, Loren Eugene Walker; and half-sister, Mercedese Gardener.

Denver is survived by his sister, Joyce Stump (Clifford); half-brother, Edward Walker (Patty); Children, Carla Walker, April Harper (Chris), Anna Chandler (Brett), Adam Walker (Lindsay), Candice Walker (Ryan), and Zach Walker (Cassidy); and Grandchildren, Justin, Kelsey, Ben, Branson, Amelia, Elaina, and Waylon.

Services for family and friends will be by his parents’ graveside, at 1:00 p.m. Sunday March 19, 2023, at Tyler Mtn. Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, WV.
