Obituary

Jason Tucker Morgan, 58, of St. Albans, passed away July 6, 2023, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. His passing has created an irreplaceable void in our hearts. Jason was a graduate of Milton High School, Class of 1983.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tamera Morgan; son, Joseph Morgan; daughter, Ashley Peggs, son-in-law Micah Peggs; mother, Wanda Vance; and brothers, Jack Morgan, Paul Morgan, and Paul Gram.

Born May 12, 1965, Jason had an undeniable passion for cars that ignited whenever he found a willing participant to talk about them. Whether it was discussing horsepower, torque, or the thrill of the open road, he had an infectious enthusiasm that captivated those around him. In his free time, he would often be found tinkering around with his beloved “junk.” He had a knack for attracting broken items and working to “Frankenstein” them back into semi-working condition.

Jason embraced fatherhood with open arms, devoting himself wholeheartedly to his family. His love knew no bounds, and his soft spot extended not only to his own children, but to all youth he encountered. He loved working with kids, teaching them valuable life lessons and making them laugh along the way.

The impact Jason made on our lives will never fade. His kindness, compassion, and unwavering love continue to inspire us. As we mourn his loss, we find solace in the memories we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the profound influence he had on our lives.

Jason leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a passion for life. May his spirit forever guide us as we navigate the roads ahead. Though we grieve his absence, we hold onto the joy he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, Daddy, knowing that your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.

A memorial celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion in Milton on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

We have set up a memorial fund to help pay for Dad’s end of life and memorial costs. If you wish to donate, please see the link below.
