Obituary

Tai-Jon Charles Jones, 26, of Charleston, WV, passed away December 2, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

He was very much a people-person and loved to be around family and friends. Tai-Jon was a huge fan of West Virginia University Football and Basketball Teams.

Tai-Jon is survived by his mother, Teresa Penn, and father, Gregory Jones; siblings, Shimaya Jones, Greg Jones, Namon Jones, Assan Jones, Kenyon Jones, and Sh’mia Jones; step-siblings, Geandre Jones and Brooklyn Jones, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins!

Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2022, at The Father’s House Missionary Baptist Church, 500 29th Street W., Charleston, WV. Tai-Jon will be cremated following services.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to all those who have sent comfort and prayers in this difficult time.

God Bless him. I did not know Tai-Jon or your family, but it breaks my heart when I see such young ones pass. I can only imagine how devastating it is for your family. I pray for your peace and comfort.

The world definitely lost a truly amazing person when you left us but God has Gained one of the very best people he could have possibly called on to join him …My Heart And Prayers go out to the whole family in every way I’m truly sorry 💔
